The Scottish Dental Clinical Effectiveness Programme (SDCEP) published a paper entitled ‘Ventilation Information for Dentistry’ on 30th April. SDCEP stresses that it is provided as information and not guidance and it ‘aims to provide a summary of information on ventilation to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission, with a focus on advice and information that has relevance for dental facilities’.
The paper is a relatively short read and is very readable! It strongly encourages dental practices to ‘investigate dental surgery ventilation and the modifications that may be necessary to meet the requirements of current UK healthcare guidance and legislation’. Download the paper below.
